My Purpose

SwanseaBayPics is a site designed to offer a pictorial journey of the Swansea Bay area from Margam in the east to the Gower, Llanelli and Burry Port in the west.

Perfect for Tourism, Planning, Local Development, Holiday Lets, Industrial Archaeology and Local History, not to mention ‘I can see my house!’, too late its mentioned!

Coverage & Use

This comprehensive collection of high resolution aerial photographs from Port Talbot to Llanelli includes all of Swansea and Gower from 1999 to 2022.

Pictures spanning decades of change in the region comprising quality images varying in origin from scanned 35mm and 6×7 format film and more recently digital images more than 36 megapixels (7360 x 4912 at 300ppi) suitable for framed prints and exhibition size blow-ups.
